Efficiency Nova Scotia Partners with Fire Halls to Offer Efficient Home Upgrades

Thorburn, NS - Efficiency Nova Scotia was pleased to present a cheque to the Thorburn Fire Department, Linancy Fire Department and Blue Mountain Fire Department recently in recognition of the volunteer firefighters’ involvement in the community and their commitment to energy efficiency. The cheque presentation was made at the Thorburne Fire Hall on April 18.

Antigonish, NS- Earth Day is fast approaching and there will be a free arts and crafts event for kids in celebration of this world-wide event. “Earth Day Art” will be held at the Antigonish Library and is open to kids between the ages of 6 and 10 years old. Activities range from tie-dying t-shirts and making models out of sustainable materials to creating a mural that that will be displayed in the library. Children will be shown the basic concepts of green energy and that recycling can be fun!
